I record local channels OTA using Silicon Dust HD Homeruns, which record to .MPG files and then Sonarr/Sickbeard for anything which is missed or had errors. It also cleans up the residual files in your download, while keeping .srt, .idx, and .sub files intact. I designed it to work alongside Sonarr and Radarr, but will likely work with other download apps. At the moment the video stream is simply converted to x265 keeping the same framerate It didn't attempt to find and transcode h264/avi files.

The idea is that the download client extracts to the same folder, the sonarr would find the extracted video file, CDH will copy, and once the file has been imported the script will look at the original source folder for rar files, if they are present it will delete the source file used for import, leaving the rar's.
